JAMMU, July 9: Akhil Bhartiya Vidharti Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Mahanagar today organized a seminar here in the premises of Bal Ashram, Ved Mandir, on the eve of its foundation day.
The programme started with hoisting of ABVP flag by Parshottam Dadheechi, Advocate, J&K High Court and Govind Sharma, Lecturer, Maharaja Hari Singh School, who were key note speaker and chief guest, respectively.
While speaking on the occasion, Govind Sharma appreciated the work done by ABVP for the welfare of student community. The ABVP since its beginning is working for the students’ cause and organizing various programmes from time to time for character building of the students, he added.
Parshottam Dadheechi also lauded the role of ABVP in national integration. Since ABVP came into existence on 1949, it inspired and motivated the student community to become a helping hand in the process of national reconstruction, he added.
The welcome address was by given by Aman Sharma while the vote of thanks was given by vice-president, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar, Bahadur Singh.
The seminar concluded with ‘Vandematram’.
