JAMMU, June 17: The Arbitration Tribunal of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University Haryana comprising of Shiv Prasad Sharma (IAS retd), Advocate Inder Jeet Gupta and Prof Rakesh Kumar, nominee of Prof Rishipal, with majority decision dismissed the review application against award passed by Arbitration Tribunal.
Prof Rishipal filed review application against award passed by Arbitration Tribunal on November 18, 2023 and argued that review lists against the award. However, the representative of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University argued that review doesn’t lie against the award passed by the Tribunal. Prof Rakesh Kumar, nominee of Prof Rishipal was of the view that review lies against the award.
The majority of the members of the Arbitration Tribunal—Shiv Prasad Sharma and Advocate Inder Jeet Gupta were of the opinion that review doesn’t like against the award passed by the Arbitration Tribunal. Accordingly, the review application was dismissed.
