SRINAGAR, July 7: The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K, S.M Sahai and IGP Armed, Kashmir, Sunil Kumar today decorated eight Senior Superintendents of Police with ranks in a piping ceremony held at Armed Police Headquarters (APHQ) Srinagar. The officers have completed fifteen years of gazetted service in J&K Police and are entitled to wear the SSP ranks.
The Police officers decorated with ranks in the ceremony include Zahid Naseem Manhas, Staff officer to ADGP Armed, Altaf Ahmad Khan, CO JKAP 9th, Altaf Hussain Khan, CO IRP 16th, Choudhary Mehmood, Principal CTC Lethpora, Showkat Ahmad, CO IRP 13th, Mohammad Aslam CO IRP 2nd, Zubair Ahmad Khan, CO IRP 6th and Baqir Samoon, CO IRP 12th Battalion.
Mr Sahai urged the officers to work with zeal and zest to make the department proud and emphasized upon them that they must realize their duties and dedicate themselves in service of the nation. He expressed the hope that the officers will accomplish the assigned tasks and work efficiently for better public relations in future also.
