HIRANAGAR, June 16: MLA Hiranagar Vijay Sharma today condemned role of mafia system and presence of mass scale corruption in the various state departments.
Addressing a press conference, Vijay Sharma there is total collapse of administration in the every department and there is no one to listen our issues.
“Despite continuous complaints made to the concerned officers, the mafia system is ruling in every state department and there is no control on them. This is the problem in every department including, the Mining Department and Forest Department.”
“Even the DC Kathua, SSP Kathua have failed to respond to our grievances. Land and Sand Mafia is frequently looting the treasure of Kathua district. The big players are looting the building material from Ravi, Ujh and Tarnah Rivers. The Mining is going on frequently without any fear and Mining Department is issue mere one or two ‘A’ Form in a day against them. There is no check on digging of land,” he said.
The MLA alleged that I have no other option to raise my voice against corrupt system and failure of Government running in J&K except to call media persons to make aware the society,” he said and urged the government to take an action against the land and sand mafia in his district.
