SRINAGAR, June 15: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president, Tariq Hameed Karra today strongly urged the External Affairs Minister, Dr S Jaishankar to ensure evacuation of J&K students from Iran.
Amid escalating tension and volatile situation in Iran, Karra emphasized the MEA to prioritize the safety of students and provide them comprehensive support and ensure their swift and secure return home at the earliest.
“I am aware about the worries of parents and relatives of people, especially students, currently studying in Iran and hope that MEA will take urgent measures to bring them back, at the earliest,” JKPCC president added.
