Srinagar, June 9: With the aim of enhancing its surgical capabilities, the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore today received a new anesthesia workstation.
The hospital administration stated that more critical medical equipment will arrive in the coming months, further strengthening healthcare services in the area.
The development is being hailed as a positive step toward upgrading the hospital’s infrastructure and improving patient care for the people of Sopore and adjoining areas.
Locals said that much still needs to be done to ensure that residents are provided with the necessary healthcare facilities.
“Improving this hospital and ensuring the availability of necessary facilities will lead to better healthcare services not only for the people of Sopore but also for those from nearby areas,” the residents said.
MLA Sopore, Irshad Rasool Kar, appreciated the initiative and stated that the continuous augmentation of medical facilities at SDH Sopore reflect the Government’s commitment to improving public healthcare.
“We will ensure that the hospital is equipped with all necessary tools to serve the people efficiently,” he said.
Residents have welcomed the move and expressed hope that consistent efforts will continue to modernize healthcare services in the area.
Speaking on the development, Kar said, “SDH Sopore has received another anesthesia workstation, and it will help the hospital serve the public in a better way.”
