JAMMU, June 5: Police Station CICE Jammu, Crime Branch J&K, has filed charge sheet in stalking and pornography case.
A complaint was received from complainant alleging therein that her daughter has become the victim of cyber crime and blackmailing and the unknown persons have created a fake profile at Instagram and uploaded pornographic picture as DP of the victim and continuously calling/stalking her by posting obscene material on various instagram IDs.
On the basis of complaint, a case FIR NO. 04/2025 dated 31.01.2025 was registered against the accused persons namely Kunal Bharti (presently at Dubai) and Tirlok Chand Yadav, resident of Ajmer Rajasthan and investigation was entrusted to Inpsr. Jagdeep Singh, of PS CICE Jammu.
By conducting thorough , professional investigation, the Investigating Officer collected relevant documents/information from the telecom service provider, social media houses and also used reverse ILD/IPDRs techniques. Investigating officer by using modern electronic gadgets questioned/examined the accused persons.
The charge sheet in the instant case was filed today before the Court of City Judge Jammu, against both the accused persons U/S 78 BNS r/w 67 IT 2008 (Amended).
