Kidnapped minor girls recovered in four hours

JAMMU, June 1: Police in Jammu’s Janipur area claimed they have recovered two kidnapped minor girls within a short time of four hours.
On receiving a distress report from a concerned father about abduction of his two minor daughters from outside the court, a party of Janipur Police Station sprang into action, a police official said.
Within four hours, the police party led by SHO Janipur, Inspector Vikram Sharma, under the supervision of SDPO City West, and SP City North, tracked down the accused later identified as Sanjay Chouhan and recovered the kidnapped girls, he said.
While the accused has been into custody and missing minor girls reunited with their father after completion of formalities, further investigation is underway, he added.
