KATHUA, May 31: MLA Kathua, Dr. Bharat Bhushan here today started developmental works of Command Area Development, Sub- Division Dayalachak.
The entire work will be completed at a budget of Rs. 36.81 lakh and the works will include construction of field Channels on D-1 & D-6 distributaries of Kathua Canal covering villages Badala, Chak Drab Khan, Nakkian, Naroli and Khokhyal under UT Capex budget.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the objective of ‘Har Khet Ko Pani’ has been started today by constructing lined field channels in farmers fields to provide the efficient irrigation water facility to various crops at the tail end.
The officers present on the occasion were Brij Mohan Rana, Assistant Soil Conservation Officer CAD Dayalachak and other Field Officers/Officials.
Political activists present on the occasion were Updesh Andotra, Vinod Kumar, Ravi Andotra, Subh Karni, Nagesh Kumar, Gurmeet Singh, Jagdish Raj, Mani Ram, Subash Chander and Pawan Kumar.
