JAMMU, May 29: A meeting of prominent citizens, political party heads, socio political organizations and others was held at Jagti township, here today.
All the participants spoke in one voice and passed a resolution in which it has been said that no outer forces in shape of any leader may be allowed to intervene, interfere, or project himself as representative of the camp people.
“Jagti township people have vision, dedication and quality who can work on their own for the betterment of Jagti township in particular and for community in whole,’ reads the resolution, adding that no one has been given any mandate to talk on behalf of Jagti township or on behalf of JK community.
Reiterating that the community has not given mandate to any individual for issuing statement on behalf of KPs, the resolution rejects any return policy at this stage.
