JAMMU, May 29: Jammu Kashmir Sanrakshan Manch, in collaboration with Star Ville Banquet, organized a poignant tribute program to honor the brave hearts of Pahalgam, including both soldiers and civilians who laid down their lives during Operation Sindoor.
The occasion was graced by Superintendent of Police (South Jammu) Ajay Sharma, who attended the event in its entirety. In his address at the conclusion of the program, SP Sharma praised the thoughtful design and emotional impact of the initiative. He emphasized that such programs play a crucial role not only in honoring fallen heroes but also in uplifting the morale of serving soldiers and reminding society of the cost of peace and security.
A key highlight of the event was the musical tribute, orchestrated by Sada Shovan and his team of local artists. Their performances—ranging from patriotic melodies to soulful tributes—struck a chord with the audience, earning applause and admiration from both SP Sharma and the attendees.
Jayesh Gupta (JKSM president), in his remarks, highlighted how such cultural events can play a transformative role in society by encouraging unity and compassion. He also reiterated the organization’s ongoing commitment to social welfare, referencing previous initiatives such as drug awareness campaigns, blood donation drives and community outreach programs.
