JAMMU, May 25: The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Jammu has arrested two notorious drug smugglers and recovered over 1.2 kilograms of charas from their possession.
An ANTF official said that Akshay Dogra of House Number 351, Sector 4, Colonel Colony, Bohri, Talab Tillo, Jammu, and Arun Manhas of Pathankot, Punjab, were arrested with the commercial quantity of the contraband near Purmandal Morh area in Jammu during a routine checking operation.
He said a Honda Accord vehicle used in the transportation of the contraband was also seized.
Following the recovery, he said, a case FIR number 01/2025 under Sections 8, 20, 25, and 29 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station ANTF Jammu, and further investigation is underway.
