JAMMU, May 24: In order to address civic and land-related concerns in the Trikuta Nagar area, Ch Vikram Randhawa, MLA of Bahu Constituency today conducted a comprehensive tour of the locality.
He was accompanied by a team of senior officials from the Jammu Development Authority (JDA).
The tour focused on various critical issues pertaining to the management, encroachments and potential development of JDA-owned lands in Trikuta Nagar.
During the visit, MLA Randhawa and JDA officials inspected several key sites and interacted with local residents and stakeholders to understand their concerns firsthand.
Specific areas of concern included illegal encroachments, lack of basic infrastructure and delays in implementing development projects.
He also stressed the importance of safeguarding public assets and ensuring their proper use in alignment with long-term urban planning strategies and assured the public that he is committed to resolving these issues at the earliest and emphasized the need for coordinated efforts between local authorities and public representatives.
“This visit is part of our ongoing mission to bring transparency, efficiency and development to our constituency,” said Vikram Randhawa and added “the JDA has a crucial role to play in shaping Jammu’s urban future, and we are here to ensure their work aligns with the public needs and expectations.”
The tour was conducted in the presence of several notable dignitaries including Mandal President Nitish Mahajan, Kulveer Charak, Rajinder Koul, Vishal Gupta, Kapil Khurana, Kuldeep Kumar, Dheeraj Gupta and other prominent figures.
