RAJOURI, May 23: Three persons including two females have been arrested by police in connection with the murder of a middle- aged man in Khawas area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that brutal murder of 44-year-old, Parshotam Lal, son of Amar Nath took place at Keri village in Khawas area of Rajouri district three days ago. The mutilated body of the deceased was found lying at some distance of his house, on Tuesday morning.
The victim’s body bore signs of extreme violence, with his abdomen cut open badly using a sharp-edged weapon. The assailants had mutilated other parts of his body, including his private parts.
Budhal police registered a case and started investigation. The police arrested three persons including two women in connection with the murder. The police, however, declined to disclose the identity of the arrested accused persons and claimed that investigation was still in progress.
