JAMMU, May 20: Portraying the patriotism and solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces, a “Tiranga Yatra” was organized by the Citizens for National Security, in Ward No. 9,here, today.

Sat Sharma, president, J&K BJP accompanied by Yudhvir Sethi, vice-president and MLA, Priya Sethi, former Minister, Rajesh Gupta, district president, Sanjita Dogra, president, BJP Mahila Morcha, former JMC councillor, Suneet Raina and others prominent persons participated in the Tiranga Yatra.
The Yatra was led by an awe-inspiring 100-meter-long National Flag, held aloft by spirited children who symbolized the future of a proud and resolute nation. The event saw enthusiastic participation from nearly one thousand citizens, cutting across age groups and backgrounds.
Yatra commenced at Ved Mandir near Shree Institute and culminated at Kachi Chawni, Jammu. Sat Sharma, while addressing on the occasion, lauded the Indian forces for their valiance and sacrifices. He said that our rich history is filled with the stories of valour and moments of pride. He termed the Operation Sindoor as one of the historic moments, when our nation has shown its true power to the world.
Sat Sharma also lauded the efforts of the Civil Society for the massive Tiranga rally.
Yudhvir Sethi, in his address said that the brave Indian forces have conveyed the message that in order to safeguard the citizens, the nation is capable of delivering precise and strong strikes as and when required.
Priya Sethi said that India is proud of the successful Operation Sindoor and hence the people in different areas are organizing Tiranga rallies to support Indian Forces in the fight against terrorism.
Dilbahadur Jamwal, TK Sharma, Asha Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Ravi Ramesh, Dr, Akshay, Raman, Swati Sharma, Naveen Sharma, Bhanu Sambyal, Rish Khajuria and others were among the prominent present in the rally.
In a stirring display of patriotism and solidarity, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh, general secretary BJP and former Minister, led a spirited Tiranga rally in Ramgarh today.
The rally was organized to honor the nation’s victory in Operation Sindoor, a bold military response launched to avenge the brutal Pahalgam massacre carried out by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.
Addressing the rally, Dr. Manyal praised the valor and precision of India’s armed forces, describing Operation Sindoor as a decisive and righteous retaliation. “India has made it clear that the blood of its citizens will not go unavenged. The enemies of peace and humanity have been given a fitting lesson,” he stated, as the crowd responded with thunderous applause.
He further stressed that the rally was not merely an event, but a symbol of national resurgence and unwavering unity against terrorism.
Prominent leaders who joined the event included DDC Chairman, Keshav Dutt Sharma, DDC Ramgarh, Anita Choudhary and Nancy Choudhary, president Ramgarh, BJP Mandal, among others.
The BJP Minority Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir today organized a Tiranga rally in Srinagar to celebrate and honor the spirit of patriotism and national unity.
The rally commenced from Presentation Convent School and concluded at Amar Singh College, Srinagar. It was organized under the leadership of Sheikh Bashir Prabhari, Bhat Imtiyaz, general secretary, BJP Minority Morcha J&K, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from local members, youth, and party workers.
During the peaceful and well-disciplined procession, participants raised patriotic slogans including “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Operation Sindoor Zindabad,” and “Bharat Sena Zindabad”, symbolizing their unwavering support for the nation, its armed forces, and the spirit of unity in diversity.
The rally aimed to promote national integration, honor the sacrifices of the nation’s defenders, and reinforce the commitment of the BJP Minority Morcha to strengthening the social fabric of Jammu and Kashmir.
The event concluded at Tagore Hall with brief patriotic addresses and a pledge to continue working for peace, unity, and progress in the region.
Another impressive rally was taken out by party in Banihal which was led by former MLA and senior party leader, Neelam Langeh. A large number of party activists and local people participated in the rally.
An impressive Tiranga Rally was also taken out in Gandhi Nagar area today.
The rally led by chief spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&K UT Ritika Trehan, was filled with patriotic fervour and slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai was a mark of respect to the brave security personnel who were part of the operation and a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives defending the country’s integrity and sovereignty.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritika paid rich homage to the unwavering courage of the Indian armed forces, including paramilitary forces, BSF, CRPF and local police, who continue to protect the country against terrorism and subversive forces.
