JAMMU, May 13: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a Contract Committee and a Departmental Contract Committee for the Tribal Affairs Department in accordance with S.O. 15 dated January 9, 2020, of the Finance Department.
The Contract Committee will be chaired by the Administrative Secretary of the Tribal Affairs Department and includes as members a representative from the Finance Department; Secretary (Technical), Public Works (R&B) Department/ Development Commissioner (Works); Director, Tribal Affairs Department, J&K; Chief Engineer, Public Works (R&B) Department/Jal Shakti Department/ Power Development Department (PDD); Chief Engineer, Inspections, Quality Control & Designs; Chief Engineer (Mechanical) for works involving purchase of mechanical equipment; Director Finance/ Financial Advisor/Chief Accounts Officer, Tribal Affairs Department; Director/ Joint Director, Planning, Tribal Affairs Department; and a representative from the Industries & Commerce Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary.
The Departmental Contract Committee will be chaired by the Secretary (Technical), Public Works (R&B) Department/Development Commissioner (Works), with the following members: Director, Tribal Affairs Department, J&K; Chief Engineer, Public Works (R&B) Department/Jal Shakti Department/PDD; Chief Engineer, Inspections, Quality Control & Designs; Chief Engineer (Mechanical) for works involving purchase of mechanical equipment; Director Finance/Financial Advisor/Chief Accounts Officer, Tribal Affairs Department; Director/Joint Director, Planning, Tribal Affairs Department; a representative from the Finance Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary; and a representative from the Industries & Commerce Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary.
