JAMMU, May 8: Our defence forces have once again proven its strength and resilience in the face of external threats.
This was stated by Ishant Gupta, UT IT Head of BJP Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued, Gupta said, “In the early hours of the night, Pakistan attempted a major aerial attack, targeting critical military bases in Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Bhuj. However, our defence forces, utilizing the advanced S-400 Air defence System, which act as Sudarshan Chakra, successfully intercepted and destroyed all incoming drones and missiles, preventing them from reaching Bharat’s soil. This action demonstrates the country’s advanced technological capabilities in defending its sovereignty.”
He said that the successful use of the S-400 system is a testament to Bharat’s technological superiority in protecting its people and land.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharat has emerged as a nation that responds decisively to any threat with both advanced technology and unyielding determination,” he said.
Gupta said, “Bharat while always calling for peace, will not tolerate any further acts of aggression. Every provocation by Pakistan will be met with an appropriate and powerful response. The era of silence is over; Bharat will not allow any disturbance of its peace. The country will continue to respond with force and precision, ensuring that every act of aggression is met with strength and resolve.”
He also extended his heartfelt solidarity with the families affected by the recent cross-border shelling along the Line of Control, especially in the Poonch area.
“The people of Jammu & Kashmir, along with the entire nation, stand united with the Armed Forces in ensuring peace and security. The pain and suffering caused by these acts of aggression are deeply felt, and Bharat’s resolve to stand by the affected families remains unwavering,” he added.
