SAMBA, May 6: In continuation to its drive against the absconders and criminals, Samba police apprehended an absconder who was wanted in a case FIR registered at Police Station and evading arrest for the last 10 years.
Police said a team of Police Station (PS) Samba headed by SHO Samba succeeded in apprehending an absconder namely Mohd Latief, son of Noor Hussain of Dawara Majeen tehsil and district Jammu wanted in case FIR No. 195/2012 U/S 188/295A RPC registered at PS Samba.
Police said the absconder was produced in the court of law and lodged in the district Jail Kathua. Thus the arrest warrant U/S 512 CrPC issued against him got executed.
