JAMMU, May 5: A youth was stabbed by four assailants with some sharp edged weapons at village Gurha Brahmana in Akhnoor area last night.
Official sources said that four unknown youth attacked Sunil Kumar, resident of Kot Garhi, who was travelling in a car, with some sharp weapons and seriously injured him last night near village Gurha Brahmana. After leaving Sunil in the pool of blood, the attackers escaped from the spot.
Seriously injured Sunil Kumar was referred to GMC Jammu by doctors after treatment at Sub District Hospital, Akhnoor. Police seized the car and recovered a few weapons from the spot. Some old enemity was said to be the reason behind the attack.
On this, police raided many places in the area last night and took 3 youths involved in the case into custody. One youth is still said to be absconding. The police registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
