POONCH, Apr 30: In its continued drive against illegal mining, police teams from Police Station Surankote conducted targeted inspections and successfully seized two JCB machines and three tippers allegedly involved in unauthorized mining activities.
“As part of their ongoing efforts, the district police are regularly conducting surprise raids and inspections to curb illegal extraction of minerals,” a police spokesman said while warning that any individual or entity found violating these norms will face stringent legal consequences.
Reiterating their zero-tolerance policy, the police emphasized that no illegal mining would be tolerated under any circumstances.
