UDHAMPUR, Apr 22: A young motorcyclist died when his bike met with an accident after skidding off the road at Sangoor Chowk on National Highway Udhampur.
The deceased has been identified as Rajat Kumar (32), son of Sham Lal, resident of Sayal Sallan Udhampur. He was working as an agent for Banihal route transport vehicles at MH Chowk Udhampur.
The accident took place late last evening when the motorcycle skidded off the road. Some locals shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to Army Hospital Udhampur in view of his serious condition. During treatment, he succumbed to injuries.
