JKAACL organises book release of AashAagur by Dulari Pandita ‘Durga’

JAMMU, Apr 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages hosted the release of AashAagur, a new book by noted author Dulari Pandita “Durga”, here today.
The event was graced by Prof P N Trisal, a renowned scholar and writer as the chief guest. He emphasized the vital role of literature in preserving cultural identity.
Dr Pavan Malhotra, Director/ Principal of ASCOMS Hospital, was the guest of honour, and spoke on the unifying power of literature in fostering community and understanding.
Dr Javaid Rahi, Chief Editor of Gojri at JKAACL, delivered the welcome address and praised the author’s contribution to literature.
A highlight of the occasion was a soulful musical performance by Rajesh Kher, who rendered bhajans featured in the book. His heartfelt singing added a deeply spiritual dimension to the gathering.
Makhan Lal Pandita and Prem Nath Pandita “Prem” presented a paper on the book, offering deep insights into its themes and narrative style.
A critical review of the book was conducted by Kundan Paras, President of the Nagrai Literary Forum, and R L Jawhar, President of Samprati. Both shared thoughtful reflections on the literary and cultural significance of AashAagur.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, delivered by Ashok Koul, General Secretary of the Nagrai Literary Forum. The proceedings were anchored by P K Raina, who guided the audience through the program.
The gathering saw an impressive presence of distinguished writers and poets, including R L Jawhar, Tej Sagar, Rajinder Aagosh, Kusum Dhar, P L Sudeshi, Dr Roshan Saraf, M L Pandita, C L Pandita, Dileep Pandita and B N Abilash.
