13 in fray for CCI elections after scrutiny

JAMMU, Apr 20: A total 13 candidates are in the fray for the six posts of the office bearers for the elections of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Today was the last date of scrutiny of the papers of the contesting candidates. The meeting of the Scrutinizing Committee comprising of Shiv Partap Gupta, Election President, Manmohan Singh, Vijay Gupta, and Kulbhushan Gupta was held at Chamber House on Sunday.
The Committee after scrutiny of the nomination papers found that the 13 candidates contesting for various posts of office bearers of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industry, are in order.
Arun Gupta and Rakesh Gupta were cleared to contest for president’s post,    Anil Gupta and Deepak Aggarwal for the post of senior vice president; Rajiv Gupta and Sunil Gupta for the post of junior vice president, Manish Gupta and Rahul Mahajan for the post of secretary general, Ashu Gupta and Rajesh Gupta (Rinku) for the post of secretary while Manik Gupta, Rajesh Gupta Raju and Rajesh Langar were cleared to contest for the post of treasurer.   The contesting Candidates  were given a copy of Code of Conduct for canvassing during election and they were requested to strictly adhere to with code of conduct.
The election shall be conducted on May 11, 2025 (Sunday) at Chamber House Rail Head Complex,  Jammu.
