JAMMU, Apr 14: To initiate welfare programmes in Village Chatta, Rekha Mahajan, senior BJP leader paid a visit here today.
While interacting with the people, Mahajan said that the aim of holding such programmes is to bridge the gap between the government and the grassroot level, ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach every corner of Jammu and Kashmir.
She emphasized the importance of awareness regarding Central Government initiatives, as they play a crucial role in improving the living standards of rural communities.
“Every section of society is getting equal attention and opportunities under Modi’s regime, highlighting how the government’s policies are focused on the upliftment of all, including marginalized groups and rural populations,” she said.
The BJP leader also assured the people that the BJP is committed to bringing sustainable development to every village, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of progress.
She also discussed various welfare schemes initiated by the Modi Government, including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, all of which have had a transformative impact on the lives of rural families.
Later, she held a meeting with the booth president and booth committee members to discuss ways of strengthening the BJP’s presence at the grassroot level and urged them to work hard and ensure that their respective booths are better equipped to reach out to voters and convey the policies of the Modi Government effectively.
