JAMMU, June 18: A delegation led by Neeraj Gupta, secretary, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) met Chief Engineer PDD Shehnaz Goni.
During the meeting, Neeraj Gupta apprised her that electric transformer at Vasant Vihar near Kamla Palace, Talab Tillo is catering huge area and there is fluctuation, especially during night, thus making life miserable vis-à-vis causing damage to electronic gadgets.
He asked Chief Engineer to bifurcate the load on the transformer by installing other transformer in the area.
Chief Engineer gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that one more transformer of 250 KVA will be installed in the area.
She called the concerned officials and gave them instructions to prepare estimate, so that the transformer is installed in the locality at the earliest.
