SAMBA, Apr 9: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba police has seized five vehicles including three dumpers across the district which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police said its teams headed by SHO Police Station (PS) Ghagwal, SHO Police Station (PS), Ramgarh and in charge Police Post (PP) Supwal of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized five vehicles including three dumpers bearing Registration Numbers, JK21J-5799, JK21F-9922 , one dumper and two tractor trolleys were without Registration Numbers which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
