SRINAGAR, Apr 8: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Member of Parliament, Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha segment, Mian Altaf Ahmad, conducted a tour of several areas in Anantnag district to take stock of the public grievances and assess other needs of the people.
During his visit, he covered Shangus, Kokernag, Bijbehara, and Anantnag. Locals in these areas shared their concerns regarding poor road infrastructure, lack of irrigation facilities, shortage of drinking water, and inadequate healthcare services.
MP Mian Altaf assured residents that he would highlight their issues at the appropriate forums and push for quick redressal. He also pledged full support in his capacity as a Member of Parliament.
After concluding the tour, Mian Altaf urged the Government to accelerate development works in these areas and address the people’s day-to-day problems on priority.
