UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: A three-day training program on “Developing Effective Communication Skills, Behaviour, Attitude and Responsibility towards the General Public” began at Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) here today.
A statement said, the program has brought together 24 officers and officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Police to enhance their emotional intelligence, self-awareness, self-control, and communication skills.
The sessions during the program focused on soft skills, stress and time management, self-improvement, and strategies to boost organizational productivity.
Renowned faculty members from leading academic institutions have been invited as resource persons to conduct the sessions.
The program was inaugurated by SSP Rajinder Kumar Gupta, Deputy Director (Indoor), who addressed the participants on behalf of the Director, SKPA Udhampur.
He highlighted the importance of communication skills in policing, emphasizing their role in conflict resolution and public trust-building.
The course is coordinated by Senior PO Chander Lekha, with ASI Rajinder Singh assisting in its smooth execution.
