UDHAMPUR, Apr 1: In a tragic incident, a teen-aged boy drowned while taking bath in Bainsta Nullah in Ramnagar, here this morning.
Identity of the drowned boy was established as Rashid (17), son of Lal Din, resident of Bainsta, Tehsil Ramnagar. He along with his family members was taking bath in the Bainsta Nullah when he suddenly slipped into deep water and drowned.
The body was fished out by a Police team, led by SHO Ramnagar, Inspector Purab Singh. Later, Police shifted the body to the mortuary in Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for further legal proceedings and post-mortem. An inquest proceeding has been initiated in this regard at Police Station Ramnagar.
