JAMMU, Mar 29: A hardcore criminal was arrested with a country-made pistol from Arnia area here today.
Raman Kumar of Kathar, Arnia was a notorious criminal, who was recently released after completion of his detention term under the Public Safety Act, a police official said.
Today, while patrolling at Karyal Village, a police party of Police Station Arnia led by PSI Harjinder Pal Singh arrested the accused again with a country-made pistol, he said.
Accordingly, the accused was booked in case FIR number 16/2025 under the relevant sections of the law registered at Police Station Arnia and further investigation taken up, added the police official.
