JAMMU, Mar 22: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Jammu Kashmir unit, has made an urgent appeal to the National Testing Agency (NTA) to extend the application deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG.
Due to server issues, students have been facing immense difficulties in filling out application forms over the past two days, resulting in unnecessary stress and uncertainty. ABVP demands that the NTA should immediately extend the application deadline to ensure every student gets a fair chance to apply, said ABVP State Secretary, Sannak Shrivats.
ABVP has also reached out to the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC) to intervene in the matter and ensure that the students’ interests are protected.
Notably, the CUET UG 2025 registration’s last date is March 22, and the payment window will remain open until March 23, 11:50 PM. However, many students have been facing technical issues, including payment failures, OTP not received, captcha errors, and website server crashes.
“We request the NTA to take immediate action and extend the application deadline to prevent any further inconvenience to the students,” said ABVP.
