Plus-2 Lecturers demand regularization

JAMMU, Mar 19: All Jammu and Kashmir +2 Lecturers’ Forum today held a monthly meeting on virtual mode, under the leadership of Pardeep Singh Rakwal (President) and R S Salathia ( Chairman).
Addressing the meet, Pardeep Singh Rakwal lashed out at the Govt. for unnecessary delay in the regularisation of Incharge lecturers despite passage of considerable time. He sought the personal intervention of Education Minister, Sakeena Masood Itoo to resolve the issue of regularisation of incharge lecturers. He said that the Forum would soon come out with a protest programme at divisional level if Department of School Education fails to fix a date for convening DPC for regularisation of Incharge lecturers.
RS Salathia also urged Minister of School Education to fill up the vacant posts of Principals by promoting 50 odd senior lecturers so that headless schools get Principals. This would boost the academic activities in schools, he added.
Ghar Singh, Kamal Lal, Renu Langeh, Gh Nabi Malik, Rajeev Sharma and Suresh Mattoo raised the issues of ACP.
