Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, Gupta highlighted the stark contrast between India’s economic rise and Pakistan’s rapid decline.
Gupta accused Pakistan of waging a decades-long proxy war against India, using terrorism to destabilize the region. He asserted that despite multiple peace overtures, Pakistan has only responded with deceit and betrayal. Pakistan, he said, misled J&K people with false propaganda, separatist funding, and youth radicalization, but today, its own survival is at stake.
He pointed out that Pakistan’s economic mismanagement, political instability, and military dictatorship have triggered internal rebellion. From Balochistan to Gilgit-Baltistan, armed resistance against Pakistan’s oppressive rule is growing. “Pakistan, which once fueled separatism in J&K, is now collapsing under its own failures,” he said, adding that separatists in J&K must rethink their allegiance to a failing state.
Gupta lauded the transformation in Kashmir, stating that under PM Modi’s leadership, J&K’s youth are choosing education and careers over violence. He asserted that Pakistan’s terror ecosystem is being dismantled, separatist funding has been choked, and false narratives have been exposed.
Highlighting India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism, he cited surgical strikes, the Balakot airstrike, and the crackdown by agencies like NIA and ED as proof of India’s strong stance. He urged the global community to recognize Pakistan’s role as a terror hub and reconsider diplomatic and financial support until it dismantles its terror infrastructure.
Gupta reaffirmed that PoJK was always an integral part of India and predicted its eventual reunification as Pakistan collapses. He warned that Pakistan’s last-ditch attempts to create unrest in J&K will intensify but called for national unity and vigilance. “India seeks peace, but we will never compromise on our sovereignty,” he concluded.
