SRINAGAR, Mar 16: Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla today solved a decade-old online bank fraud and arrested the accused.
As per police, the 10-year-old case dating back to year 2016, was registered at Police Station Boniyar vide FIR No. 3/2016 under section 420 of RPC.
The case has been solved with the arrest of Manoj Das, resident of Deoghar Jharkhand, involved in an online bank fraud case amounting to Rs 90,000, police said, adding that further investigation is underway.
“Police remain committed to ensuring public safety and urge citizens to cooperate with police and report any suspicious activities to help maintain peace and order in the community,” authorities said.
