RAMBAN, June 10: A police constable was arrested for molesting a lady hailing from Israel near Jawahar Tunnel in Tehsil Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
As per police sources, two ladies hailing from Israel was on their way to Srinagar in an Innova car. At Jawahar Tunnel in tehsil Banihal the vehicle was stopped by the police personnel of Kashmir security for checking, where a cop allegedly molested one of the lady.
The victim reported the matter to police station Banihal and the cop was arrested during identification parade carried out in presence of senior police officers.
The accused cop has been identified as Sajad Ahmed of Kashmir.
A case in this regard stands registered at Banihal police station and investigation started.
