JAMMU, Mar 13: A free medical camp was organized at RKS Girls Higher Secondary School, Bishnah, under the leadership of AICC Secretary Neeraj Kundan.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Yuva Helping Hand Organization and the World Cancer Care Charitable Society. The camp was coordinated by Shubam Dogra.
Speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Kundan emphasized that the primary objective of the camp was to spread awareness among the public regarding cancer, its causes, and the importance of early detection. He expressed concern over the rapid spread of the disease and highlighted that due to a lack of medical facilities, many individuals fail to diagnose it at an early stage, leading to an increasing number of fatalities.
The medical camp provided free cancer testing along with various other health check-ups, including eye examinations, blood sugar tests, blood pressure monitoring, dental care, orthopedic consultations, and more.
Kundan assured that similar medical awareness camps will continue to be organized for the benefit of the people of the Bishnah constituency.
Several prominent individuals were present at the event, including coordinator Shubam Dogra, block president Vijay Tagotra, Munna Sharma, Rahul Karloopia, Doulat and Som Nath Bhagat.
