JAMMU, June 9: Maharaja Agrasen University’s seven days Research Methodology Workshop jointly organized by Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi and Panjab University, Chandigarh at Maharaja Agrasen University campus concluded.
On the occasion, Prof AK Bhandari, Dean University Instructions, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the chief guest, whereas Prof RK Gupta, Director, UIHMT, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the guest of honour.
Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Dr SP Bansal presented the welcome address and briefed that the university will continue to organize such workshops and seminars as they provide platform to the researchers and academicians to learn about the ways of doing good research.
Prof Bansal also said that the university will never compromise with the quality education, adding that the university is growing with the consistent pace and is committed to provide education in holistic environment.
Prof AK Bhandari in his speech said that the special emphasis should be laid on improving the quality of research. He also added that the researchers should focus on doing researches that may contribute something meaningful to the society.
Prof RK Gupta said that the workshops like this will support the budding talent in the field of academia to get familiar and learn with new approaches to solve problems in more advanced and scientific way.
Workshop coordinator Dr Prashant Gautam from Panjab University presented detailed report of the workshop.
Later, the participants of the seminar were awarded with certificates and mementoes by the dignitaries.
In the end, conference organizing secretary Sandeep Walia presented vote of thanks.
Among others present were Dean Academic Affairs, Prof NS Bawa, Dean Student Welfare Prof RK Misra, Registrar Ajay K Poddar, Director School of Management, Prof George Thomas, Associate Prof, Dr Vishal Kumar, joint organizing secretary, Sandeep Patlaan, Deven Mahajan, Rohan Bhalla and faculty members of the university.
