JAMMU, Mar 10: Senior BJP leader and MLA Bahu Constituency, Vikram Randhawa today conducted a comprehensive tour of Sunjwan and its surrounding areas today.
The tour was aimed to address the pressing issue of water scarcity that has been affecting the local communities.
During the visit, Randhawa engaged directly with residents to understand their challenges related to the inconsistent water supply.
He emphasized the importance of sustainable water management practices to ensure the availability of this vital resource for future generations and urged the community to use drinking water judiciously.
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa expressed his commitment to resolving the water scarcity issue by collaborating closely with the PHE Department and ensuring active community participation.
“Access to clean and sufficient water is a fundamental right of every citizen and the hardships faced by the residents of Sunjwan are unacceptable,” he said.
He assured the community that effective solutions would be implemented promptly to address the water scarcity once for all.
The tour included a detailed assessment of the existing water infrastructure in Sunjwan.
The MLA was accompanied by officials from the PHE Department, Executive Engineer (XEN), Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), Junior Engineer (JE) and other staff members.
