JAMMU, June 6: J&K Government Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has welcomed the decision of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah with regard to man demands of the State employees.
Addressing a joint press conference senior leaders Amrik Singh and Ganesh Khajuria thanked the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for taking a historic decision to enhance the retirement age of employees hoped that their other pending demands will also be addressed soon.
The other demands are regularization of all casual labours, daily rated workers, adhoc, contractual and consolidated employees, removal of pay disparity, additional budgetary support to such PSUs who have not their own resources and enhancement of medical allowance.
Others present on the occasion were Jagdish Raj Sharma, N S Jamwal, Uttam Chand Sharma and Rajinder Kumar.
