SRINAGAR, Feb 28: The J&K Bank has opened a new branch at Umerabad area on the outskirts of Srinagar, aiming to provide modern banking services to the local community.
As per a statement, the branch was inaugurated by MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee, with Zonal Head Raja Zafar Khan, Cluster Heads Shabir Ahmad Bulla and Asmat Ara, and other bank officials in attendance. The event was also joined by residents, senior citizens, and customers of the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Amitava Chatterjee highlighted that the branch opening is part of the bank’s strategy to offer convenient and affordable financial services, especially in rapidly developing business and residential areas.
“This branch aims to meet the growing financial needs of both businesses and residents,” he said.
