JAMMU, Feb 23: One person died when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by an SUV in Akhnoor area here, officials said.
They said the accident happened last night when a bike driven by one Ajay Kumar of Shakti Nagar, Jammu, was hit by a Bolero vehicle (JK02AM-9428) at Khuga Morh area on the Sunderbani road.
The collision of the vehicles was potent that the biker died on the spot, officials said.
The body of the deceased was handed over to his family members after conducting the post-mortem at Sub-District Hospital Akhnoor while as a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor with further investigation set into motion.
