JAMMU, June 2: Former state president and National Executive Member BJP, Dr Nirmal Singh today said that after worst debacle in the Lok Sabha elections, National Conference (NC)-Congress Coalition Government in the State has lost moral authority to take any policy decision.
In a statement issued here, today, Dr Nirmal Singh said that failure of the coalition to even open its account in Lok Sabha elections is a clear indication that this corrupt regime has lost faith of the people and those who are ruling the State have no moral authority to govern. He said that this regime has lost mandate of the people also.
“During the last nearly five and half year, this Government has done nothing to fulfil promises which both NC and Congress had made with the people during 2008 Assembly elections”, Dr Singh said and added that results of the Lok Sabha elections are indicators of peoples’ anger against this regime.
He termed the NC led Government as a non-performing liability and maintained that people of the State were fed up with the present dispensation.
