JAMMU, Feb 16: While expressing shock over the train tragedy, resulting into casualties of 18 people in Delhi last night, JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra today said that Union Railway Minister should take responsibility of the incident,.
Taking strong exception to the mismanagement on various fronts during the ongoing religious Yatra of Maha Kumbh leading to loss of lives due to over crowding and stampede, JKPCC president said that the Railway Minister should own responsibility for this tragedy.
He said this Government hides more and tells less as a result the nation gets more hurt and finds it difficult to know the truth. It was noticed during Maha Kumbh stampede tragedy and several incidents during the period.
He said during Covid- 19, too, it was noticed that this Government hides more and tells the nation less which is very serious in the situation of present day when citizens have right to know.
“Under Modi regime, no one is held accountable or responsible for such tragedies or incidents who could have been avoided but for human error and mismanagement, the Railway Minister should be asked to resign,” Karra added.
JKPCC has expressed deep sympathies with the families of those killed and shared their grief besides praying for peace to the departed souls.
