JAMMU, Feb 15: An individual, who was evading his arrest for the past two years, was arrested by the police in Domana area here today.
A police official said Balvinder Singh of Purkhoo Camp, Jammu was wanted in case FIR number 34/2009 under sections 341, 323, 34 RPC registered at Police Station Domana but he was evading his arrest for the past two years.
Acting on intelligence gathered from different sources, he was arrested today by a team of Police Station Domana, he said.
According to the police official, the arrested individual will now be presented in the court for deciding the future course of action.
