RS PURA, Feb 13: Gurdeep Singh has been appointed as vice president of the Sikh Unity Forum (SUF), J&K.
A spokesman of the Forum said that during a meeting organized by Sikh Unity Forum Jammu-Kashmir at Simbal Camp, Comrade Gurdeep Singh was unanimously appointed as vice president of Sikh Unity Forum, J&K.
The general secretary Gurmeet Singh, advocate Sangat Singh, Balbir Singh Aji, Manmohan Singh, Barkat Singh and Paramjit Singh along with a large number of people associated with the organization were present in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Sikh Unity Forum, convener Rajendra Singh.
On being elected as vice president, Comrade Gurdeep Singh thanked all the members of Sikh Unity Forum on this occasion and said that he will work with dedication and honesty to live up to the responsibility given to him. He said that SUF is working as a social organization and raising the problems of the Sikh community people forcefully.
