JAMMU, Feb 8: In a significant development, Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL) has signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for off-take of power from its Kiru Hydro Electric Project (624 MW) at Kolkata, West Bengal for a period for 40 years from COD.
This agreement was signed by Arun Patra, Chief General Manager (Commercial) on behalf of DVC and Amrik Singh, Group General Manager (Planning) on behalf of CVPPL in the presence of The Chairman & Members of DVC Board and senior officers of DVC, NHPC and CVPPL.
