JAMMU, Feb 8: An awareness-cum- interaction programme has been organized by the Legal Metrology Department at AoI Bhawan, Gangyal in association with Association of Industries (AoI) Gangyal.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Anuradha Gupta, Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K. The Deputy Controller, Legal Metrology Department Jaideep Sambyal attended the programme and apprised the members of the necessity and benefits of the compliance of Legal Metrology Act.
The interactive meeting was presided over by Virendra Jain, president of the Association and attended by Sandeep Ohri, vice president, Sanjay Langar, general secretary, Ajay Mahajan, secretary, Jatinder Singh, treasurer among others.
A large number of unit holders participated in this interative meeting. They raised their queries which were answered by Sambyal with full satisfaction of the members. Virendra Jain requested the Deputy Controller to organize registration camp for the members at AoI Bhawan to which Sambyal agreed. It was mutually agreed that the members shall cooperate with the officers of the Legal Metrology Department for the verification of the weighing scales at their premises.
The meeting was concluded with the vote of thanks by Sanjay Langar, general secretary of the Association.
