KATRA, Feb 8: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH), Katra, has been honoured with the AHPI Digital Health Excellence Award at a prestigious ceremony recently held in Cochin.
The hospital is one of only three organizations globally to receive this esteemed recognition, reaffirming its leadership in integrating digital healthcare solutions, including electronic medical records, telemedicine, and AI-driven diagnostics, to enhance patient care.
According to an official spokesperson of the hospital, SMVDNSH has set a benchmark by leveraging technology to improve accessibility, efficiency, and medical outcomes, establishing itself as a pioneer in the region’s healthcare transformation.
Beyond digital excellence, the spokesperson added, SMVDNSH distinguishes itself as the only hospital in Northern India with multiple national and international accreditations, including NABH (5th Edition), NABH Nursing Excellence, NABH Emergency Excellence, NABL (ISO 15189:2022), ISO 13485:2016, Green OT Certification, and CAHO-ACE for sterilization.
These accreditations validate the hospital’s unwavering commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency, ensuring that every patient receives world-class medical care in a safe and structured environment. The hospital’s NABH Emergency Excellence Certification further highlights its unmatched emergency response capabilities, making it the most reliable facility for trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies in the region.
