JAMMU, Feb 7: Police in Manwal area arrested a bootlegger and recovered 50 quarters of JK Special whisky from his possession. A scooty used in the crime has also been seized.
A police official said the consignment was recovered from one Ved Prakash alias Babby of Jindrah, Manwal at Nadal Naka.
The accused, according to him, has been arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and started further investigation into the matter.
