JAMMU, Jan 25: President Droupadi Murmu today announced two Kirti Chakras and nine Shaurya Chakras to be conferred on the Army personnel on the eve of Republic Day.
Among the Defence personnel who will be awarded the Kirti Chakras are Major Manjit and Naik Dilwar Khan (posthumous), both posted in Jammu and Kashmir.
Those who were awarded Shaurya Chakras are Major Satender Dhankar, Major Ashish Dahiya, Major Kunal, Capt Deepak Singh, Assistant Commandant Eshenthung Kikon, Subedar Mohan Ram, Subedar Vikas Tomar, Havildar Prakash Tamang and Havildar Rohit Kumar.
